Augmented Reality (AR) is related to Computer Vision.
AR is a technology integrating computer-generated objects into real-world to get interactive experience. It does not create the whole artificial environments to replace real with a virtual one.
Blending Audio, Video, 2D or 3D animated models into real-world visuals from devices.
Types of augmented reality devices. They are categorized into 4 types

Components are used in Augmented Reality are camera, sensors, heterogeneous compute resources(GPS, CPU, GPU, RAM).
Types of Augmented Reality. There are four types.
1. Marked based Augmented Reality
Pre-defined Marker is known as target images. While detecting the target position used as an anchor point to place an object.

2. Marker-less Augmented Reality.
Location-based AR is also known as markerless, position-based and geo-based augmented reality.

3. Projection Based Augmented Reality.
Projection Based Augmented Reality is also known as Mixed Reality. Computer-generated objects that directly overlays digitals projections onto the physical world. These devices are unlike to mobile, like to wearable AR devices.

4. Superimposition based Augmented Reality.
Detecting the objects from real-world and replace with fully or partially with the computer-generated object overlaid on the real-world objects.
